High Standard, Houston is making the AMT Automag again.
Google High Standard.
That and the Excel previously mentioned are the only currently produced models that I know about.

I owned the AMT 22 Mag. It was a real POS. I traded it for something that functioned. 0 -
I would suggest the AMT as there's plenty around with parts readily available. The sights are nice and it does run best with the Winchester ammo it was built around. The one I picked up was fine after a good scrub and lube. 22mag is rather dirty making quick wipe downs and a shot of clp routine to keep it running and me smiling. The report is sweet and the muzzle flash is a "holy chit!" especially at dusk or on a cloudy day.

Grendel also made one, that had a 30 round doublestack magazine. It was also a POS. My reccommendation, would be a double action S&W, as there are none currently madt that are worth a darn, as peviously have been stated before.

I appreciate the comments. I have a friend who had a 22mag derringer style pistol holds 4 rounds in a square type 4 barrel system only moving parts were the triger hammer mechanism.Have never seen another like it. Perhaps the lack of sales in that caliber is the culprit.

I really like the Pachmayr grips.
Was actually one of the reasons I went with a High Standard built pistol.
I had shopped for used Automags for quite some time. Besides all the bad things I had heard about feed and ejection issues with the earlier pieces, I really did not like the grips.
When it was new, the Houston piece had alot of feed and ejection issues also.
After about 500 rounds, it has become much more forgiving about what I feed it, and I am overall very happy with it.
I don't have any actual shooting experience with the older AMT's, but there is no comparison to the feel of the plastic grips of the earlier Amt's, and the factory Pachmayr grips of the High Standard built AMT's.0 -

None of the above three (AMT Automag, Grendel, or Accelerator) are particularly known for reliable functioning. Also, because all three use the standard magazine-in-pistol grip semi-auto design with the long .22 magnum round, the grips can be a bit uncomfortable (depending on your hand shape/size).
One more worth looking at. This one will probably run 100% reliably and should be AT LEAST as accurate as any of the above. It the Volquartson "Predator" in .22 magnum. This is a pistol based on the Ruger 10-22 magnum RIFLE action. The question is how much are you willing to spend here?

Also, I don't know what caliber THIS gun is, or even if any were ever actually manufactured, but dimensionally, it looks like it MIGHT be for a .22 magnum:

Lastly, along the lines of the above, if you are willing to put in some time and money (though probably not as much money as the "predator"), it may be possible to build your own 10-22 magnum "charger" pistol.
Hard part will be finding a virgin (unbuilt) 10-22 magnum receiver to make the build legal. Volquartsen at least USED to make and sell these. I don't know if it still does.
Also, I've heard that its POSSIBLE to convert an ordinary .22LR receiver to .22 magnum, though this conversion is probably NOT trivial, and if you wanted to do it, you'd probably want to use an aftermarket STEEL receiver (not an ordinary aluminum one). 10-22 magnum barrels and other parts (stocks, mags, etc) are still available, if not quite as cheap or common as ordinary 10-22 parts.
Alternatively, you could buy a 10-22 magnum RIFLE, then do the Federal paperwork to legally convert it into a short-barrelled rifle, which you could then use as a pistol.
As ridiculous as this sounds, its still probably significantly cheaper than buying the Volquartson "Predator", and the conversion itself ought to be trivial. Just cut down the stock and barrel.
Once built, you could then even legally attach a stock to this gun!0 -

Note that George Kelgren, owner of Keltec, was also the owner of the now-defunct Grendel arms.
The PMR-30 appears to be a rehash of the older Grendel pistol, though nicer looking, and with more modern touches (like fiber optic sights and a frame rail).
According to the press release, this is to be available in Q2 2010. Personally, I'd want to hear about reliability before I bought one. Rimmed .22 cartridges and a double-stack magazine don't seem like they would want to play well together.
