You can probably get a replacement barrel from Kahr. Give them a call.

Alreay have a replacement coming from Kahr, but the chome plating in the chamber area just doesn't hold up. It starts coming off and by 200 rounds about 1/4 of it in the chamber had come off...hoping I could find a replacement that isn't chrome plated....

If Bar-Sto ever made them I would be all over theirs [:p]. Also if the barrel stuck out a little (less than half an inch) beyond the slide that would be bitchin'.

    What did Kahr say?
I have three Kahrs that I bought used (K9, CW9, PM9) and one bought new (P380) I've run about 2,000 or more rounds through the 9mm's and a few hundred through the .380 and I've not noticed any problem with the chambers or barrels.

dogtown tom...Clean the PM9 chamber...then look at the chamber walls. Are they all nice and shiney or are there areas on the chamber walls where the chrome has come off and you can see the underlying SS?

You got a good one, mine had the chrome coming off in 200 rounds.... I sent it back to Kahr for replacement.

I looked at all four other of my Kahrs and none show any sort of wear of the type you describe.

I do know that Walther (who makes the barrels for Kahr)had a bad batch several years ago.

Mine is a new Kahr, only about 6 months or so old.
