Marlin L.A. "gunsmith" Question ???
O.K. ,,,,
Customer brought in a stainless lever action 45/70 (marlin) , the 'carrier' will not raise the ammo up so the round can be loaded ???
I cannot find anything broke and or wrong ???? what am I missing ???
any suggestions ?

If the carrier does not lift at all when the lever is being closed then the only thing it can be is the carrier rocker or the spring behind it. 0 -
OR THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE MARLIN LEVER RIFLES, THE LOADING SPRING SCREW IS LOOSE. THIS JAMBS THE 'LIFTER'. 0 -
