Sears Ted Williams Model 75 20 guage

I inherited this gun from my uncle, and have no owners book with it. It has the adjustable choke, and my question is, does this start with it screwed down as far as it will go, and then line the imp, mod and full up with the top of the barrel, cos it will continue to click out past those three clicks
Also having the problem with cheap field loads sticking in the barrel and not ejecting.
