There is a fellow who is making uppers for the AR-15 rifle and its clone in this caliber. He is actually shortening the case also, so it is legal length for Indiana's deer hunting regulations. I will do some research and see if I can find it. For some reason Superrior rings a bell.

    csjs1194,

I don't know of any gunsmiths in particular that are working with this cartridge but it's not hard to get a reamer made from a dummy cartridge or drawing and then cut a chamber.

Build time will depend on the work load for any single gunsmith, getting the reamer made while waiting for a barrel and stock to get shipped from the manufacturer or supplier. It can range from a couple of months to over a year depending on the popularity of some gunsmiths.

I necked this series of cartridges up and down when they first appeared and found that the performance will be similar to the .358 Winchester cartridge but will use slightly different powders. This case is optimum for the .25 caliber and 26 caliber bullets.

    Best.
