I am have issues with a Star in 9mm largo. I am not sure what part is worn out but here goes: Trigger will not stay cocked back? Anybody got any ideas as to what this could be?

  It could be a couple of things. It could be the return spring on the trigger or disconnector. Or, if it has been dropped when cocked, the hammer full cock notch could be broken. If you don't feel confident enough to take it apart, you could buy a assembly/disassembly book that would walk you through the process. In my experience most folks do ok taking guns apart. It's the putting them back together where they might need some help.
