New US Company Manufacturing SA replica's?

I just read an article this year of a new company manufacturing Colt type SA replicas ...It spoke of the great fit and finish of these guns and great precision of these revolvers. It is a US company ? Can anyone tell the name of this company?

    That would be "U.S. Firearms Mfg. Co.", sometime referred to as "USFA"

    They make a VERY fine pistol. I had one in 44-40 that rivaled the best Colts in fit and finish.

    I'm sure they have a web site.

    Excellent quality and they make alot more models than Colt. I have a newer Colt SAA in 45 Colt, the USFA is just as good, I think.

    USFA has been building their guns from scratch since 1997 and were assembling guns from imported and outsourced parts several years before that.

    A newer source is STI and the Texican. Their only revolver and available only in limited supply for the last couple of years. Reportedly of good quality except for the really ugly grips.

    Certainly is not a new company, must have been a old article.....
    Excellant workmanship, I have a 4 3/4" 45 Colt from them that is very well done..

    The answers you have received so far are going on the assumption that the letters 'US' are in the company name, not "A new company in the US making firearms". USFA is a sure bet, but they have been making SAA's for over thirteen years. Best, Joe
