Win Mod 12 conversion to .28 ga?

I have read/heard that it is possible to convert a Win Model 12, 16 ga to a .28 ga with a .28 barrel, fitted by a gunsmith. It seems to me that a .20 ga might also be converted with a .28 ga fitted barrel. Is this possible? Thanks-Dave

  YES a 20 Ga. the 12 GA. is different receiver. finding the Parts MAG TUBE BARREL and small parts will be Costly.

  M-12/16GA./20GA./ & 28GA. ALL USE THE SAME FRAME SIZE, BARRELS, CHAMBER EXTENSIONS, EXTRACTORS, & SHELL STOPS ARE DIFFERENT
