Remington 24T speedmaster disassembly
I can find very little about this 22 short only semi-auto rifle.CF date code on bbl(4-1937)? Sure would kike to take this dirty gun apart to clean. Any other info appreciated.

I figured it out, It has a screw on the LH side of rec.that slides & was gummed up & stuck it would not slide to the rear to release the bbl. so it would rotate like a model 12 winchester.

Glad you got it worked out. FWIW, if you go to the Remington website, you can request an owners manual on several of their older rifles. Just got my very nice manuals for my 550-1s, and my 552 Speedmaster, in the mail, free. 0
