1911 holster-Military
Thanks for checking this out. I'm looking for info
on a holster I used when my unit was going to the field.
Best I remember, it was looped around my neck, then a belt
went around my back, and the holster was mounted in the
middle of my chest. I've been looking but have found
nothing on this yet. Thanks for any help. Jim

The WW II version was known as the "M 3" shoulder holster. It only had one loop that went over the left shoulder. then another on the bottom of the holster that was attached to the belt. Don't know if their was a latter version that had a chest strap.
