ID this pistol

Hello,

I have a few guns that are stumping me...... I am not sure exactly what they are, any help is appreciated.

It appears to be a "Nagant Type" revolver. These were originally made in Belgium during the late 1870's and became very popular in Europe over the next 20+ years. Many countries made them under license from Nagant for their military forces. Various knock-offs and unlicensed copies were also made, primarily in Belgium and Spain. If your's doesn't have any proof marks or manufacturers markings it's probably Spanish.

Absolute wild guess- can't tell for sure from your pics- but look for a Tipping & Lawden revolver. These were made under license from Tranter. Of course, the Belgians and Spanish copied anything that looked good, so will need proof markings to determine what country it was made in.

Definitely not a Tranter or T&L. I agree it is one of the Nagant variants.

Very close to an 1883 Belgian noncom's Nagant except for the shape of the ejector rod head. I can't read the markings in the pictures and photobucket won't let me blow them up larger than 59%.

Just one fish out of the great sea of late 19th century revolvers.
