Knoxx Sidewinder Question

Hello. Recently I bought a Mossberg 500 with a sidewinder conversion kit. I noticed that it was missing the Cartridge Interruptor Assembly. Is this normal?

  I believe it's necessary to remove it to accomodate the Sidewinder conversion kit.
  
  I'll look around and try to find a copy of the installation instuctions and see, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.

  It would be great if you could check just to make sure, if possible. Thanks for the quick response. I was kind of worried about that missing piece.
