Any bayonet experts on here?
I have two bayonets that I need help on. I need to answer these questions: What country and firearm were they made for? Value? I'm pretty sure about one. I THINK it was for a British Remington or Enfield pre-WWI but I am not 100% sure. I would be willing to e-mail pics. They are not the best but a bayonet officianado should be able to tell from the pics.
I am valuating these for a widow and I am NOT an expert on bayos. Although familiar with several of them, I am a far cry from being well versed. Help please.
Edit: I will add some pics from photobucket shortly and eliminate the need for e-mails

Hey, thanks for that link! 0 -
Anyone have a clue as to who the maker of the M1 bayo is? 0 -
United Cutlery. 0 -
Thanks alot! I'm getting there slowly but surely. Now I need to figure a value for them. I know the Enfield is not worth a whole lot but it does have the belt and ammo pouches along with the bayo and sheath. 0 -
Value of the Enfield bayo could depend on the MFG. I had one that I sold for $185. 0 -
The 'M1 Bayo' is a M1905 manufactured by Utica Cutlery. Best, Joe 0 -
Thanks fellas. I'll do a little more research when she sends me better pics. 0
