Beretta 1947 .22cal LR Bolt-action Rifle?

I have acquired a rifle that I can find no info on. It is a bolt action .22 LR made by Beretta. It has no import marks. It has a 5 rd open-sided magazine. It is marked 1947 on the barrel. The rear sight is graduated from 25 to 125 (yds? or meters?) in increments of 25.
The stock has a profile similar to a Semi-auto Sporter. Can anyone ID this rifle? Thanks in advance, David.[?]

    All Beretta rimfire rifles are rather rare in the country and were not domestically imported so most were private "bring-backs" by tourists or US military personnel living/visiting in Europe...Although you could order one and have it shipped to you (those were the days). The semi auto/bolt rifles are the most common and they bring $400-$500 in nice shape (the special 20 round magazines for these guns are extremely rare and worth big money). If yours is the Unione or the special Olympic variation it has to be worth considerably more, but until I see a photo of the gun I can't even begin to guess what you have.

    It is not the Sport Model, that is for sure. I'll have to open this one up to our members who can hopefully ID the rifle. Each thread is limited to ten responses so I've eliminated a few of my previous posts to make room for additional posts.

    Nothing in my references showing your Beretta. Most of the .22's they made were semi-autos. Only couple of bolt action models, years later. Obviously it's a very uncommon rifle, at least here in the States. That doesn't translate into big bucks though, unfortunately. Collector demand is what creates value. To the best of my knowledge most of the .22 bolt action rifle collectors are after high grade guns, like Model 52 Sporters. You might post to www.rimfirecentral.com If anybody collects bolt action Beretta rimfires, one of the members over there would know about it.
