Hello The Lars parts are not a run of the mill item. So the old do a search on the auction side to see what they are selling for may not be the only way to set a price. I will advise you that many of the buyers on this site will only search for items to purchase with a filter to only look at the NO RESERVE auctions BECAUSE most reserve auctions are automatically relisted some times for years. with PIE IN THE SKY prices . So we just look at No Reserve auctions . With that said this IS the place to put up for sale I would start out with one conversion unit with Its mate of Magazine and start with a price of what you will take for the one unit. Then see how it goes You will have bidders if you start low but it may not get any if you start too high. Sorry that is the best I can do with advice only never sold any Lars Parts.

The only thing I can add here is that Ebay is highly anti-gun.

There are "goons" (for lack of a better word) that troll the site, and report any auctions that they think contain guns or gun parts. Ebay reflexively cancels these auctions. . .even if the listings DON'T necessarily violate Ebay's gun policies.

Your parts may technically be OK to sell on Ebay (I'm not really sure), but if you want to use Ebay, you'll have to be very careful how you list them.

In general, Gunbroker is a LOT more friendly when it comes to listing guns and gun parts.

Perry Shooter does offer some good advice about pricing.

I have no doubt that your items WILL sell if listed as no reserve auctions on Gunbroker. . .there are LAR Grizzly owners who would love to have those conversions. The trick is just to write your listing and time it to get maximum bids.

For a reference, you may want to check e-gunparts and see what they charge for the parts.

The LAR sales in whole gun form on GB are one here and there. I have been in search mode for one, and of the few that are listed only few have sold. As for parts these would probably fetch a better price with the whole gun and then the ad-ons.

Check out the auctions here on GB. Search grizzly and see if the conversions are selling. Not the asking price but if they sold!

Bad time to be selling anything. It would be best if he held off awhile before trying to sell the parts. It's a buyers market now unfortunately. If he was to list without a reserve, might not work out for him. Value is based on demand, i.e. two or more buyers in competition bidding against each other that drives the value(s) up.
