Need Help.. Winchester Model 12.. Disassembled

I have a hunting gun that has deep sentimental value to me and I may have bitten off more than I can chew.
I have a Winchester Model 12-12 gauge pump action... serial is in the 350,000 range so I think it is from the 1924 run. Now this has ALWAYS been a reliable and excellent working piece, but someone had the audasity to store it in the basement while I was overseas for 18 months and of course it was damp, and tremendously pitted the bluing
I decided, that since I wasnt going to sell it, that I would strip it down, work the barrel and parts with fine paper to get rid o the pitting and re-blu it. I realize I am damaging the value but I never planned on selling, and I could stand to look at the damage that this fine shotgun had suffered
Now to the important part... I got sidetracked and put the project away, and it is all in pieces and I dont know exactly what goes where and if I even have the entirety of the pieces
Does any one know if I can get a detailed field breakdown manual, or if there is a gunsmith in the northeast area that specializes in this era of guns and could rebuild it, I would love to know about it
Also... what type of bluing and reconditioning is best to do to this era of rifle as to restore it to its best condition
I thank you in advance for any help you may give... becasuse as I say this rifle has been in my family for years and I would like to resatore it to its original glory, becasue all it is good for now is throwing it at a deer!

bad break for your old m-12. try Simmons gun repair in Oleath (SP) Kansas. you can find 'em on the internet. top hands at restoration IMO and because it is your gun and you are sending it in for repair it is perfectly legal to mail it to them and have it mailed back to you with no ffl messy paper work. good shootin' 0 -

There's a gunsmith in Ct. that was a Winchester authorized repair guy for many years. He is also full service, bluing, wood etc. His name is Mitchell Schulz and his business name is Gunsmithing Ltd. I believe he is located in Southbury Ct. I 0 -
