1903 Colt 25

I am trying to find the value of This 1903 colt 25 with pearl handles and is in good condition
It has perl handles And condition is good
I have looked on the net and can't find this gun
I have a date of Dec 20 1903 The serial number is 9936
I have seen simuler guns but not with that date or cal.

    Your idea of "good" may not be the same as mine. We can't help you unless you post photos of your gun. Instructions for posting photos can be found near the top of the forum page.

    Also, we need you to describe the bore, as in "bright & shiny", "dark & pitted", etc.

    You willl need to get it lettered from Colt to verify that it left the factory with pearl grips.

    I am not a colecter and not going to keep the gun. I just thought I could get an idea of what to ask for it I just didn't find anything about it on line

    you need to recheck your info. the 1903 colt came in two models, hammer and hammerless. neither one was .25cal.
    there is a 1908 hammerless .25, sometimes called the "vest pocket". they were produced from 1908 to 1941 and your serial # would make it a 1909 gun. the patent date, on the left side of the slide should read DEC. 22 1903. the otehr 1908 available was in .380 the same as the hammerless 1903 (except caliber). all these guns could have been ordered with MOP grips (it was a $6 option on a $15-22 gun!)but most guns nowadays have aftermarket "pearl" grips
    and, just to keep it interesting, all of the above were made by multiple manufacturers.

    You cleared it up. now I know why I didn't find anything on a 1903 .25
    I just took it to a dealer and he told me it was a 60 to 70 whatever that means. Your discription was on the money
    As you can tell I am not a colecter
