S&W 32 Auto Ammo

My grandmother has recently gave me some of her fathers guns and ammo. This was one of the boxes of ammo. I can't find any info about this ammo anywhere online. I would like to know some history about this ammo. Year in which it was made etc...

If anyone has any info about this ammo, I'm eager to know.

  Not that old probably from the 70's. S & W entered into a number of partnerships with other companies during that time frame. Fiocchi, a very well known Italian ammo manufacturer was one of them.

  Alcan in Illinois was purchased by S&W in 1972. That box looks like others I've seen from the 1970's

  What you have there looks like good old ".32 ACP" ammunition. Fiocchi of Italy made yours, and they are still making it. S&W sold it. Many companies still produce .32 ACP ammo. Many, many semi-automatic pistols have been chambered for it. The Walther PP/ PPK/ PPKs is one famous gun series that you can find in .32 Auto. Many guns are still made to shoot .32 ACP. The "ACP" stands for Automatic Colt Pistol. I believe that .32 ACP is sometimes called ".32 Browning". Here is what wikipedia has to say on the subject:
