It's made by a German Company name German Sport Guns. This is the same outfit that makes the HK MP5 knock-off, that they call the GSG5.

As the slide and frame of the Chiappa .22 is made of zinc alloy die castings it's not likely to be as durable as a conventional .45 with a steel frame.

The Germans have been making pistols out of zinc ally die castings since the 60's. My experience is with the Erma Luger knock-offs that were made that way.
