  Chuck Taylor shot a ton through a Glock 17. Total was well over 100,000 rounds, not sure when the first jam occured.

  I know a guy who claims to have put 30,000 rounds through his Glock 17 without cleaning it, and I believe him.
  
  I didn't ask him if it ever jammed, but it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't. Running ordinary factory ball rounds (which is mostly what he did), you'd expect extremely high reliability.
