whats the difference Remington1-87 special purpose
what is the difference on the 11=87 special purpose I have the chace to get one without the barrel will a reg 11=87 barrel work also why are they call special purpose were they military and police or what thanks for any info

Special purpose is a matt finished gun. Barrel will fit. 0 -
I think the wood is also a flat satin 0 -
Parkerized finish on metal and the stock if wood has satin or flat finish to them, no shine. Other than that same mechanically has the others. 0 -
IMHO...I don't think the "special purpose" are parked..I took one out of the box from the factory and the barrel & the receiver were rusted... I really think it's just a poor matt blue finish...
