Can someone check my first gun listing? #146151785
I'm selling my first modern gun on Gunbroker. Can someone experienced check it for me and make any suggestions? I want to make sure I'm following the rules, and have all of the needed information. Thank you very much! -- Corey Chambers http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=146151785

link?
Only change I would make would be to not have a reserve, and set a starting price that you could live with if there was only one bid.0 -
You wont gaurantee satisfaction unless winner has 5 or more A's???? I dont get it???
I personally (along with maany others) will not look twice at a reserve auction. My .02 cents.0 -

The auction looks great.
I am not up on CA laws but doesnt it mirror the Federal AWB of '94? If that is the case you have 3 "evil" features on that gun the pistol grip, bayonet lug and a folding stock. Per the '94 AWB you could only have 2 "evil" features. I know we have some guys here that are really up on CA laws (Mark C).
IMHO unless things are that much different in CA $2k for a non factory gun is going to be a VERY hard sell. You can get a new factory RRA like that for about $1000. I know the sight and stock are worth a few hundred too but still. Again just my opinion.0 -
Looks like a fine listing to me. Alittle wordy in the description, but it tells it all. 0 -
You may want to mention that CA legal means it has an easily reversed fixed mag and is otherwise no different than ARs is the OK states. Alot of folks outside CA have no idea what "CA Legal" means and may assume the gun can not be easily returned to "free state" conditions in about 30 seconds. I'd mention, assuming you're using a "bullet button" that you'll include the standard AR mag release spring & button. 0 -
Yeah I don't get the satsfaction guarantee for people with 5 A+ feedbacks??? Does not make sense! If someone has three A+ feedbacks you won't mind screwing them over?? Thats the way I read it and I sure would not bid! 0 -

I agree with this entirely.
$2000 grand is a lot for a parts gun. It may sell in the People's Republic of California but no where else.0 -
It can have all the "evil" features you want as long as it has the fixed 10rd magazine. 0 -
Limited market outside of CA. There is simply no demand for a blocked AR anywhere else so you should consider a private sale here. As a personal note: I really dislike auctions which start at one cent and have a hidden reserve, especially those with a Buy It Now price of $2000! Clearly you are looking for quite a bit of money so why waste every one's time with a penny opener? It is in fact possible to block reserve auction from searches. Many people do this, myself included. 0
