Beretta 92f, Military issue, parts should always be available. Buy a parts kit for each gun.

One of the most manufactured 9mm's around is the Browning HP. It's been in production since the 1930's and distributed around the world.

It is reliable and comfortable for just about anyone to hold and shoot. It's not a DA wonder nine, but has a double stack magazine and can hold up to 13 rounds.

The only fault I can find is the magazine safety, but that can be disconnected without too much trouble.

Hard to argue with the Glock 17 as a mass market 9mm. I would get and XD-9 but that is personal preference. Get the glock, it will serve you well.

Go with the Glock! About 30 parts compared to a couple hundred in most other 9's.
