winchester 94 mods???

picked up a 1960 model 94 that's nra excellent. i'll still use my 1964 rifle for the majority of the shooting, but i do want to shoot the "new" one too.
the old gun has a scout scope set-up and i have another new, old stock, scope mount. the mount fits in the rear sight dovetail and is fastened up front with a screw in the front band on the stock.
i'm looking for another front band that i can drill and tap so i'll be able to put the gun back to factory original when i'm done playing with it. i checked all the usual parts places w/o luck.
anybody know where to find one?
