scope rings suggestion

I have a new DPMS LR-308 and I need to marry a 1" tube scope to it. Before I buy rings I am interested in hearing what others suggest for this platform.

Ideas?

  Any of the Burris offerings that meet your height needs:
  
  Burris XTR
  
  Burris Signature Zee rings
  
  Tactical Precision rings
  
  Badger Ordnance
  
  Ken Farrell
  
  There are tons of good rings out there. Just be sure to lap the lesser quality rings or go with the Burris Signatures.

  Well the suggestion I have departs from rings completely, it is a scope mount, made buy burris.
  
  Usually High, or extra high rings are needed to get a proper cheeck weld with the AR.

  Your choice of rings may be affected by your scope choice - something with a large objective (50mm) may need extra high rings.

  I would go with Burris Zee Rings. They are well worth the money and do scratch the scope. Inserts that come with the rings allow you to get very very close to zero with very little need to adjust windage or elevation. The inserts require a little patience but are worth every second. to me anyway...
