    The main source of .41 AE guns was Tanfoglo of Italy with their CZ copies.

    There was an aftermarket .41 AE conversion barrel for the Browning HP but it was not an FN product.

    I recall running across a semi-auto UZI variant chambered in the .41AE at a gun show a long time back.

    Yes there were some IMI Uzis in .41 but they are fairly uncommon. I have a barrel and mag in .41 AE for my Model 45 (also rare with 5064 imported), along with 9mm and .22lr.

    .40 S&W pretty well killed off the .41AE even though it is a great round.

    I think they all were rebranded TZs. Even the Springfields.

    To be clear, Tanfoglio makes or made:

    EAA witness
    Springfield TZ-75
    Jericho (aka "Uzi Eagle", "Baby Eagle", "Baby Desert Eagle", "Jericho 941").

    With the Jericho, its a CZ-75 clone, built on Italian-manufactured Tanfoglio frames (or used to be), and assembled in Israel using other Israeli parts. The gun is NOT the same as the EAA Witness (parts won't interchange), but its similar and supposedly Tanfoglio was heavily involved in its design. The spec name "941" refers to the fact that this gun was designed from its inception to run either 9mm luger or .41AE.

    So these different guns are all connected to the same manufacturer, and are related with similar designs.

    On the .41AE, its probably a superior design to the .40SW, given that the rebated rim cartridge design allows for barrel-drop in easy caliber conversion. Unfortunately, it never got the same marketing push as the .40SW, so it never quite took off.

    I bought an 41 action express kit for the P35 Browning from IMI in Philadelphia when they came out. The kit included 4 Italian Mags.
    They also sold brass.
