CONSIDERING PURCHASE OF AN AUTO TACTICAL SHOTGUN. LIKE THE LOOKS AND OPTIONS AVAILABLE ON CHARLES DALY SPECIAL AND MOSSBERG SPX FOR THE PRICE. ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH EITHER OF THESE ? THANKS

    I have fired an SPX about 100 times, the sights look cool but they are not set up well.JMHO

    i would Use a spx as a base gun, then add a reciever mounted rear sight behind the picatinny rail.. I believe that would make it a more useful gun.JMHO.

    Or get an SPX with just a bead front sight, though I aint even sure if mossberg makes one like that..

    Well it pretty much has to be the 930,

    Which Mossberg SPX? My only problem with Mossbergs is that they are a little light.

    why not a pump? a remington 870 with an 18"bbl and a fixed stock has all the "tactical" features one would ever need from a scattergun.
