    well I'm looking around and you can't find many 92s or 96s under $400 even if they are a beat up Police Trade in....some of these people want upwards of $750 for a new Beretta...doesn't mean they will get it...but $375 seems like it would be a rediculously great deal..

    $600 for a used Beretta sounds $100 to $150 high to me.

    I don't see the draw to the older Italian ones.

    The newer US made ones have all the updates - ambi-safety, stronger slide, & improved take down lever. Depending on how old the Italian Beretta is you might be dealing with a completely different magazine.

    I purchased one new with 4 extra clips in 1989 and paid $575. It came with the wood grips. Can't believe if I had it today n.i.b. it wouldn't be worth what I paid for it 20 years ago? Or did I REALLY over pay for it!

    bought my son one at a gun show (Italian ..new in the box)..paid what he was asking and for 550 i got 2 extra clips and a Kydex holster which we mothballed..at 550 i feel was okay deal but not a great deal..plus there wasnt much to look at at the show to pick from
