Beretta 92 FS value
I am looking at a Beretta 92 FS, 2 mags, box paperwork, Italian made, unfired, could be had for $600...
Is that good deal? had heard the Italian made Beretta's go for about $100 then USA made...is that true? THanks
I am also curious...is the 96G still DA/SA? I know its .40S&W

well I'm looking around and you can't find many 92s or 96s under $400 even if they are a beat up Police Trade in....some of these people want upwards of $750 for a new Beretta...doesn't mean they will get it...but $375 seems like it would be a rediculously great deal..0 -
$600 for a used Beretta sounds $100 to $150 high to me.
I don't see the draw to the older Italian ones.
The newer US made ones have all the updates - ambi-safety, stronger slide, & improved take down lever. Depending on how old the Italian Beretta is you might be dealing with a completely different magazine.0 -

I purchased one new with 4 extra clips in 1989 and paid $575. It came with the wood grips. Can't believe if I had it today n.i.b. it wouldn't be worth what I paid for it 20 years ago? Or did I REALLY over pay for it! 0 -
