help with saddle ring gun
i recently bought a 1964 saddle ring 30 30 and it also has some engraving on it. I can't find any info or History on the gun. any help would be greatly appreciated,

ccookin, Welcome to the forum. The 1965 Gun Digest lists a Model 94 Winchester "Antique". It is described as "Same as the M94 except: color case-hardened and scrolled receiver, brass-plated loading gate and saddle ring." Price was $89.95 while the standard M 94 was $83.95

Post above yours shows a price difference of about 3pct between the antique series, and standard production.
So, any [period] M-94 will be close in value to yours, minus a few percentage points. Check closed recent auctions to see what the Antique '94 (or the production '94) will go for if you were to sell. Best, Joe0 -

There's one on the "other" auction site still brand new in the box for $495 with no bids. I don't recall them as being big sellers and that's probably why Winchester discontinued them.0
