S&W Holster
I have a SW holster that's been sitting in the safe for 20 years. It came with a '73 model 36 I got at a gun show but it's, obviously, not correct for that. I've spend an hour or two trying to find out on google but the closest thing I came to was the one below.
It looks like Auction Item number 145351288. On the back it has the SW logo and under it the numbers 21 63 (the numbers are separated). Can anyone help with what SW fits this? I'd like to buy one to complete the set. Thank you!

I'll take an educated guess, and guess that this holster was intended to fit a Smith model 63 .22 revolver (hence the "63").
The model 63 is the stainless version of the older ".22/32" revolver. That's a .22 revolver built on the small frame, and I think the frame (if not the barrel) should be the same size as your mode 36 .28 snubnose.
The model 63 guns had been discontinued for a while, but Smith re-introduced them, and they are in current production (or at least were until quite recently).
They're not cheap.

Update: I emailed SW for an answer and they replied back that it has been 30 years since they made the holster and it would "be impossible to identify it." Strange.
Anybody have any other suggestions?0 -
Take it to a gun shop or show and try some revolvers in it to see what fits [;)] 0 -
