Slugs In A Double Barrel

I have a 16Ga double barrel that I was thinking of using slugs in.Is it safe to use slugs in a gun with fixed chokes? I believe the chokes on the barrels are full and mod? Will it hurt the gun if I use slugs? Thanks for any help.

  Not the most accurate way to toss slugs but you'll do no damage to a gun with fluid steel tubes.

  Double shotguns are made to have the same impact at around 40 yards, that means they cross paths. If I had to use it, I would sight in just 1 barrel at around 75 yards and use only that barrel.
