I haven't shot mine yet but it locks up nice and dry firing (with snap caps) is no problem. I also had a blued one about 10 years ago and had no problems with it.

total junk..had one that was nib and was unwrapping it for number check the cylinder would turn both ways with no lock up..taurus not allowed in the show case anymore

No, and a very accurate gun also.
I had this problem with a ruger once , extremely bad.
Ruger corrected it. I hear Taurus is going downhill with their customer service but maybe you'd like to try that route.
