What are these S&Ws worth?

I have three S&W revolvers- inside they say mod 36, 042 and 35. the 36 has target sights and is a .38. The 042 is also a .38. the 35 is a .22 with target sights. All of them look pretty much perfect. Does anybody know what they are worth? I got them from my father-in-law. Thanks.

  Start googling Smith and Wesson Model Number so and so. It will be worth your while and interesting - maybe, even fun.

  I thought that I would suggest waiting until out members get their feet on the ground this morning, for some value information. In the mean time you can can use the Auction side to locate some of these models to see what they have sold for recently which will get you in the ballpark. Use the Auction search mode to find the listings.
  
  I also suggest posting clear, sharp, well lit photographs of these since the condition of the firearm will usually dictate the value. A short tutorial 'Sticky' is located at the top of this forum with a guide to posting photographs.

  On the "o42", I believe that would be 642..to start with. The 36 "with target sights" ,is a 2 inch version with adj. sights, strange but a rarer item. The 35 is another somewhat scarce item with, j frame with 6 inch barrel. Tour FIW, just gave you about 1200 dollars.
