Vickers Over/under 12 ga. help
A friend has one of these like new with engraving double triggers etc. He wants 300.00 for it I have never heard of Vickers anyone can help me out on this it sounds like a pretty good deal for any over/under

It would be best if you could provide quality photos for identification and valuation purposes. Years ago some some high end English made shotguns had barrels made of Vickers steel, never was aware that any were stack barrels though? 0 -
I would be highly suspicious of the gun without photos. Vickers could be a misleading name.
Not a certainty, but double triggers on an O/U is most often an indication of a utility gun. Not always, but very often.0 -
Once upon a time, Vickers, the British machine gun people, had their own line of shotguns at the medium level of London guns.
More recently, there have been shotguns imported from Italy to be sold under the Vickers trademark. I suspect a $300 O/U is one of those.0 -
I have a 20 ga O/U same as discribed,needs work on one of the locks it at my winter home I will be there in 2 weeks and take some pic's.I also need more info.tks hedge[:D] 0
