Savage model 893

i received after my dad passed away , a savage model 893
i always thought it was a savage 99.. it looks just like
the 99, and is .300 savage, take down.. can anyone tell, me the difference between it and the 99 ? thanks for your help...george

  It would be best if you could post quality close-up photos of the rifle for help in identification and valuation.

  thanks for your input.. i know what a model 99 looks like,, i am not looking for a value.. i am asking .. What is the difference between a 99 and an 893.. thanks
