Will it only feed .22 Long Rifle??

Any harm from shooting BB or CB caps, or shorts through it ??

  Doug,
  BB and CB caps should shoot fine single fed; whether the CB's would maintain position in the clip while cycling the bolt by hand, I'm not sure. Will try it if I can dig up some CB's.
  In time you would get a build up of crud in the chamber that would require thorough cleaning before resuming regular l.r. ammo.

  I have tried shooting .22 shorts through my Mk1 and they would not cycle the action. I would imagine at very close range you would hit cans & such with the shorts but it will be a pain to have to single load them every time.

  I do believe that Clark or Volquartsen makes a 22 short conversion for the ruger Mark "x" pistols. It consists of a magazine, and a lighter recoil spring if my memory serves me.
