Can you identify the .38?

This is a .38 Smith & Wesson.

It breaks over when the rear sight is lifted AND the cylinder catch is pushed forward. I can only get the serial number off the butt.
The numbers under the topstrap are not readable.

Can you identify the Model # or any other information?

  It's known as the "Perfected Model". Made between 1909 & 1920, total 59,400 made. Very interesting and collectible if factory original and in at least Very Good cosmetic condition.

  This one functions perfectly and looks decent.
  It's not for sale, but I wanted to know what I had.
