Ruger 10/22 magnum part 2
is there any aftermarket companies that sell a ruger 10/22 magnum receiver?

For some reason "part 1" was locked so I'll respond here.
I've had NO trouble with mags sticking on the Hogue stock, not even after-market hi-cap ones. If I did have that problem I'd probably have corrected it by trimming the rubber around the mag well.
The scope pictured is a Simmons Aetec variable power 2-14x55mm. Not terribly expensive, about $150.00 but extremely clear. I'm quite happy with it in all respects.
Volquartzen makes stainless steel receivers for these. I neglected to mention a complete rifle I bought here on G.B. made by them. One of those rare deals which keeps us all scanning this site on a regular basis. While Volquartzen makes outstanding products, hoooooooo boy do they cost. PredatorSniper, suggest keeping your eyes peeled for a Ruger on the auctions. They always go for big money but less than Vols.

The Rugers are now going for more than the Volquartsens on GB. One in the box just went for over $3,000. Expect some others to top this in the next couple weeks. 0
