  to curlyrai sorry i pressed wrong button. any way i have a 38 spl 1911 bbl that i bought with a colt 38 super slide and 38 super bbl it also came with 2 colt 38spl mags.stamped on bottom and 2 colt 38super mags.,the bbl is stamped S/W MTU U.S.A.it is 6" long. don't know what i have but it works great with 38 spl. wadcutters very acurate with my 1911 colt lower. just thought i'd let you know.[8D][:)][:D] P.S. does anybody know about this S/W bbl. was it used by military?

  I have a 1911-45ACP barell with SW on the lower lugs. I was told Smith made some as Colt could'nt make them fast enough.
