10/22 metal butt plate
I have searched the auction site with no luck seeking a metal butt plate also numerich, midway, and brownells.Have mercy on me and please some one know were ones at.Im old fashioned i want my rifle made out of wood and metal, no plastics. thank you guys

Ruger used aluminum butt plates on 10/22s for about 15 years.I went and sold all of mine.Now I am looking out at gunshows for one.

Watch the auctions for used 10/22 stocks, the older ones usually are walnut and have the aluminum butt plate. If you can't find the butt plate by itself (they do show up) then buy a used stock, pull the aluminum plate and either sell it back with no plate or put your plastic one on it and resell it to get your money back.

thanks boston floridagunworks got them for 39.95. wasgonna get one but they want 18.00 to ship it. Ican find one some were else for that.

Buy a brass butt plate for a Henry 22, they fit a 10/22 real well and look good.

I posted the same question about a month ago in the "Want Ad's" section here. I was contacted by a kindly gentleman who sold me a nice one for $12, shipped. They are out there, just be patient.
