If none of our folks can help, you might consider GOOGLEing "cz forums", or "rimfire central", both have very active and enthusiastic CZ shooters. One might be aware of CZ chambering the 452 in 5 mm Rem.

I answered this in the last thread.

Is CZ coming with a 5MM CZ 452?

    Per the article quoted above
quote:CZ's offering is in its positively classic-looking Model 452 American. Shooters familiar with CZ's "American"-style rifles recognize them as the ones where CZ chucked those European features such as hog's back stock combs for American-style features, and my fellow Americans--we responded.
    Yes,

CZ has announced that it was going to make these at last year's SHOT show. I don't know if it has actually made any yet, or ever will, but supposedly these are in the works, to be released soon.

You can call CZ for an update, or ask your local dealer to reserve one for you.

I have looked at CZ's website, there is nothing there about it. Are you sure?

I am sure I correctly copied that assertion from the article in Guns and Ammo magazine from May 2008, written by Scott Mayer. Here it is for the third time, if you don't believe me:

    http://www.gunsandammomag.com/cs/Satellite/IMO_GA/Story_C/5mm+Remington+Magnum+Revival+or+Resurrection?packedargs=pagenum=2

I wasn't at the SHOT show, but I have heard (and believe) that CZ announced then that it was going to issue a rifle in 5mm.

Now, so far as I know CZ hasn't followed up by actually making any of these. Will they? I don't know. . .go ask CZ-USA.

I'm sure their customer service would love to hear from you, and you never know. . .the more people who call in interested, the more likely they are to actually follow up and make these things.

Personally, I wouldn't be holding my breath for one of these to materialize. The rounds are expensive, the economy is terrible, and the round was a flop the last time it was tried.

I have some Schroeder center fire bolt conversions and can reload these at $.14 a round.
Takes a little time but cheaper than the Centurion ammo that may die out soon. $.36 a round plus tax and shipping?

Even if the Centurion ammo die out like you say, I have over 4000 rounds of it. I also have one 591 and 3 592's.
