1907 stevens 22 cal little scout

this weapon is a center fire is there any ammo available for it?
if it is not a center fire explain why the pin dings in the center

The Little Scout boy's rifle is not strong enough for centerfire cartridges, and if someone has converted it to same, it should be deactivated or converted back! Otherwise, the only way I can envision firing pin hitting in center is if barrel is installed cockeyed, which might be possible given the takedown design whereby the barrel just sits on top of the frame held by a screw from below.
