what is the difference in a browning low wall and high wall

  The height of the sides of the action. Just like the original Winchester the high wall was for heavier higher pressure cartridges.

  The High Wall's receiver is higher in back of the breechblock.
  It is much stronger by virtue of more support to the breechblock and is better suited to high powered cartridges. Browning's modern release of the 1885 Lo Wall single shot was made in more powerful cartridges than the original Lo Wall, like the .223.
  The Lo Wall has an advantage in better access to the breech when a scope overhangs the breech.

  This old topic post covers it quite well. The newer Browning 1885s are stronger than the original Winchesters, but the overall design is nearly the same...
