winchester 1890 stock question

Did any of the Winchester model 1890 variations come with plastic buttplates? I thought all had the steel crescent ones?

  The 1906 and 62's had plastic buttplates. And the stocks will interchange w/the 1890 and are occasionally found as replacements.

  The Model 1890 was made with a teel crescent butt plate, but could be ordered with a Swiss butt plate, of a hard rubber shotgun style butt plate.
