Browning Auto-5 date of manf.

I just purchased a Browning A-5 and can really find when the shotgun was made...the serial # reads;

H
28008

It's stamped that exact same way. Can anyone help?

  So far, as I can tell, H is for standard and not stamped until 1956 but the #'s don't match any list...28008 was in 1925 and all the #'s with an H read H88000 and so on...but mine is strange because H is above the # not with it...???
