M1-carbine bayonet

Hello,
Can anyone tell me who made this bayonet and scabbard? The bayonet is marked "K-M4" with a circle split into 5 "slices" (like a pie) on the hilt? The scabbard is marked "US M8A1" with "V.P.CO" below.

  The scabbard was manufactured by Victory Plastics. I may be wrong but I believe the "K" stamping on the bayonet indicates a Norwegian-manufactured (Kongsberg Arsenal) M4 bayonet.
