marswells slide action 20 ga.

I have a Marswells 20 ga slide action shotgun. It looks exactly like a smaller version of my Marlin model 19. Was this made by Marlin for the Marshall-wells company? Any info would be greatly appreciated including whether or not it can safely accept 2 3/4 inch 20 ga shells, Thanks

  Yes, it's a Marlin made slide action made for the Marshall-Wells Company of Canada. Not sure of the Marlin model number or the chamber length. However Marlin has cautioned against shooting any of their older models.
