anyone have a good value for this gun in 99% condition, blued, walnut stock, iron sights and drilled for rings.

    Pre or Post 64?
    Factory drilled or aftermarket?
    Original stock? Wood or synthetic?
    Straight 70 or a higher grade?
    Any engraving?
    Got the box, papers?
    Any accessories?

    kspray, pictures are always the best.some famous guy once said a pic. is worth.... serial # to determine date of manufacture may help for interested persons, the very least way to determine ball park value is do a search on the auction side and see what they have/are selling for. good luck

    This is a 1974 model 70, factory drilled, no front sight hood
    origonal stock wood, no box engraving or papers

    also this gun has no marring on the blueing.
    the only "damage" to it that takes it to 99% is on the chhek piece area and looks like it came from the bolt.

    Over in the auctions, most minumum bids have been set from $650 - $900. It appears that very few are actually selling in that range.
