what are every ones thoughts on using these prodgys at long range on thin skinned critters out of a 7mm rem mag

recommed the 162 gn. SST, A-MAX is a match bullet, SST is a hunting bullet. probably not a lot of difference but why chance it?

Any of the A-max bullets are hell on thin skinned game..
The 75 grain .224 A-max will put a wild hog in the freezer for you...
It has culled a ton of deer also....
No reason the 7mm 162 A-max wont do it either..
I wouldn't want to pop a deer with a SMK, but no problem with a A-max in the same weight.....

I use 6.5mm 140gr, 7mm 162gr and 30cal 178gr a-max on deer all the time. They work about like a balistic tip.
