Browning16 gauge

I have a Browning A5 16 gauge made in about 1927. Trying to find out what choke it has. There is no mark where Browning nornally puts the little astric (lower left barrel) but its been refinished at some point in its life and may have been buffed. The markings I have found are 16.7 under the barrel, 16-65 in an oval on the barrel, and cylinder 16 along the side of the barrel. I used a dial caliper on the barrel opening, it shows .663 Can the experts help me?

    Hello,

    The 16-65 is the chamber length in millimeters (65mm) and indicates 2-9/16".

    True cylinder bore on a 16 gauge is .667, Modified choke is .657, and Full choke is .639. Is suspect that your gun is just a tight Cylinder bore.

    Yes I do shoot it. Dove hunted with it this season. I had the 2 3/4 mod done to the gun, Function has been fine.
